The dissemination of the LIFE Lugo+Byodinamic project continues, on this day the project has been announced in the 3rd edition of the Cities Forum of Madrid 2018, in which 75 cities and more than 200 speakers participate. This is an international meeting of agents involved in the sustainable management of cities.

The presentation was made by the Mayor of Lugo, Lara Méndez, in the session focused on Urban Renaturalisation and Green Infrastructures, where Valladolid, Vitoria and Barcelona also had a leading role. The presentation highlighted the transversality of the LIFE Lugo+Biodynamic project, with its long impact horizon, in which the objectives set are the implementation of innovative actions in a sustainable urban development strategy, the introduction of a new production model with wood as the core and structure for construction and the promotion of the forestry sector. It was detailed how the project contributes to the construction of a new model of sustainable city, as well as the progress of the project and all its transversal dimensionality in nature conservation, resilience to climate change and sustainable development.
