The next 17th and 18th of June, LIFE Lugo + Biodinámico will be at the LIFE Platform meeting on climate action and the building sector, held in Brussels.

This meeting is part of the activities of the EU Sustainable Energy Week, which will be held simultaneously in the same city. The objective of this meeting is the exchange of experiences between different LIFE projects, as well as with other EU programs related to energy efficiency in construction. It will also focus on how the construction of buildings and homes can be resilient to future changes in environmental conditions , one of the main lines of work of our project.

In this meeting the good practices that are being developed will be analyzed in order to extend this model of construction based on sustainability, like research in sustainable heating and cooling systems, the improvement of construction materials and their insulation, the development of robotic elements for energy saving and smart grid systems for housing or the integration of elements to transform homes into renewable energy generators for self-consumption.
